We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Secret Garden Inn! The beauty of Spring was everywhere in the gorgeous garden surroundings and the Woodthrush Cottage is charming and comfortable. The plentiful breakfasts were delicious as well as the yummy evening brownies! Dominique, it is no surprise that you've managed to share this lovely experience with countless others over the years. We wish you continued success and happiness in the years to come!

First bed and breakfast for me. Book through them it will be cheaper, and she makes brownies every night! Place is a bit old but adds well to the touch. We had our water heater fail and they let us shower in a different unoccupied cottage. Also there might be termite droppings occasionally falling from the cealing depending on the room you stay. I would definitely go back regardless, maybe then rerate or give a 5.

I absolutely love the Secret Garden Inn. I have stayed here every October for the last 7 years. The owner, Dominique, is warm and makes you feel right at home. I've stayed in 2 other BB's in SB over the years and while they were very nice they don't compare to the Secret Garden.

Great little "pied a terre", very cosy feeling, comfortable beds, the staff is amazing, it's close enough to city center and beach while still being far enough to get a good night sleep. They really make you feel at home, fresh baked goods are available for guest along hot beverages during off hours, it great perfect!

This is the best kept secret in Santa Barbara. I stayed to celebrate a friends wedding. Not only was the room fantastic, combined with the gardens, but the breakfast was incredible. Will stay here every chance I get. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I had to arrive late. I called in advance like my instructions told me too. The cottages reminded me of a cottage I use to live in when I lived in Lake Tahoe. The rooms and outdoors pathways reminded me of my mom, who passed away in Feb. The flower bedspread and table clothes to the brick curvy pathways. I was delivered Breakfast to my room. I told them the night before a later time for breakfast. But while having dinner with my siblings, they wanted to be on the road at the time I suggested breakfast. The cook did not have any problems making breakfast an hour earlier for me. It is a really relaxing place. I enjoyed the short time I stayed. I needed the peace of mind. It has been a tough year for me, and I left feeling a lot calmer than I did when I left LAX.
