My stay at the Secret Garden was just what I needed. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, I felt safe in the area, and the hospitality was warm and friendly I will definitely stay here again.

The home made breakfast alone makes this the only place I'll ever stay in Santa Barbara. Lovers of vintage charm and a personal touch, this place will make your trip!

We had a lovely time in the Meadowlark room. The room was comfortable and breakfast was very good. Dominique was available and provided helpful information on nearby restaurants.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a really lovely time. We spent two nights in the Oriole Suite. We especially loved the small jacuzzi on the porch and the breakfast delivered each morning. It was delicious! Quiche, croissants, fruit, juice and coffee. The only downside was that some things in the room could use a bit of updating. The bed definitely needs to be replaced, and there were a few minor issues like how the doors closed, furniture was a bit worn and some cracks in the walls etc. Overall, it was a really nice weekend getaway with great hospitality and a cozy, charming atmosphere

This place is magical! Tucked away in an unassuming neighborhood near downtown Santa Barbara, it truly is a secret garden complete with garden paths, flowers and roses, and cottages. We had our own hot tub on our own deck. They deliver an exceptional breakfast (fresh croissant and fritatta) in the morning to your door. Comfortable and cute and clean. Husband surprised me with a cottage here for the weekend. I thought he had booked a standard hotel. I won't let him book a different hotel in SB again!

We had a lovely stay at Secret Garden Inn. We loved the location as we were able to walk easily to the coffee shop and walked to the mission. The rooms are older but they are definitely taken care of and have character. Huge bonus was that it was dog friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

This is our fourth stay at Secret Garden. It's a charming place with a beautiful garden and patio where you can eat breakfast on a nice day. The breakfast is varied and home cooked. We had different kinds of quiche, baked goods, fruit, and of course coffee or tea and juice. The cottages are furnished with vintage or antique items but offer modern amenities such as an electric tea pot. We'll definitely look to Secret Garden when we visit Santa Barbara again.

A wonderful, secret garden place in Santa Barbara! The name truly says it all. Miss Dominique and Miss Florence are the most gracious hostesses. The room and hot tub were clean and inviting. The grounds are quiet and perfect for eating the delicious breakfast that comes with the stay. You could tell that the croissants were made by someone who knows the correct French pastry. Within walking distance of the Mission and downtown State street it is everything one could want in beautiful Santa Barbara! Thank you for the wonderful time!

I have stayed at the Secret Garden for years, and introduced many friends. It's a peaceful, and restful collection of lovely cottages, centered around a lovely old house. Dominique Hannaux is the owner and has kept the atmosphere welcoming and immaculate for all the years I've attended. I just celebrated a birthday there with my partner, and had a lovely time reminiscing with her. This place is a gem, and should be your first choice in Santa Barbara!

Beautiful quiet spot in Santa Barbara with an excellent breakfast. It's older, but well taken care of and the innkeeper and staff were great.

Clean and comfortable rooms in a great part of town. The bathroom was very large and the property was beautiful.

We had a fabulous time at Secret Garden Inn and Cottages. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to State Street Santa Barbara. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Breakfast on the front porch was delicious. We definitely will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! As expected and the Garden room was perfect for our pups to enjoy. Only thing that would have made our stay even better would be an option for breakfast other than quiche.

This was a beautiful location! The kingfisher cottage was lovely. The bed was uncomfortable; too soft for my bad backed spouse. The morning breakfast was the highlight of the day! Quiche, crossaint, fruit, and coffee...yes!!! The staff accommodated our request based on health needs as well. We enjoyed the hot tub, too, it was relaxing after many walks around town. All in all, a wonderful stay with pretty gardens in a quiet area of Santa Barbara!
